EXXON IS BIGGER THAN PAKISTAN, GE IS BIGGER THAN PERU
A very interesting story from the UN Conference on Trade & Development: according to the UN, Exxon-Mobil is ranked 45 on their list of the world's top 100 "economic entities", a category that includes both businesses and countries-- nations and multinationals, as it were. Exxon-Mobil's ranking put it ahead of Pakistan and 26 other counties. In all, 29 corporations appeared in the "top 100".
